Classes, family, work, and trying to test out some new things to talk about.
So without further adieu, here are my monthly favorites!
1. Devotion by Anberlin
First off, I LOVE Anberlin. They're one of my favorite bands and when I found out that they were having one more album and tour, I was so sad. Their latest album has been my jam for a while now, but recently it's almost all I've been listening to. If you take a look at my Spotify playlist (over on the right side of my page), you should see several song off of this album. I HIGHLY recommend that you go and listen. You won't regret it! :)

2. Sprinkle of Glitter on Youtube
Oh. My. Goodness. I'm obsessed with Louise! She's so lovely and funny and does lots of makeup videos and they make me so happy! :D Plus, she can rock some sassy pink hair! I suggest you go check her out on the Youtube!
3. Lady Catherine, the Earl, and the Real Downton Abbey by the Countess of Carnarvon
Ironically, I had to get this book for my 20th Century England History class and I actually really enjoyed it! It's more or less about the history of the house and the people who lived there in the early 20th Century. The one problem I had with the book was that in certain areas, there were just these little history blurbs. They were somewhat relevant, but very awkward because they didn't quite fit in the text. It is a good read and you can get it at Half-Price Books for a good price!!
4. SafeTrek
This is a must-have app! Basically, this app is to make sure you stay safe. If you're walking back from somewhere by yourself, you open this app, hold the button on the screen until you're safe, enter your pin within the few seconds it gives you and that's it! If something happens to you to where your finger comes off the button and your pin isn't entered, it sends a signal to the nearest police station with the GPS of your phone and sends help! I live on a massive campus which is great, but also not so great. I live on one end of campus while my boyfriend lives on the other. This app will most definitely be getting some activity from me when the fall comes and life starts moving faster!
Anywho, I know I don't have much, but this month has been an awfully long and crazy one.
Be sure to check back next month and leave any questions, comments, or thoughts below!
kbai! :)
