Dorm Beauty: The Awe in August

I have a few new things I've tried and I've found a few that I really enjoy!
If you read my monthly favorites for August post, you would've seen that this month was so packed that it's taken me until now to finishing it up and getting it posted. :s
So let's do this anyways, eh?

1. Neutrogena Pore Cleanser and Mask
A couple months ago, I posted about a few Neut. products that I really enjoyed. Well, I also love getting/doing facial masks, so I went on the hunt and found this one! It works as both a cleanser for daily use or as a mask for 1-2 times a week. Since I already have a cleanser that I'm in love with, I decided to go ahead and test it as a mask. I really enjoy it! It looks a little like a pale white cement and once you put it on, you keep it on for about 5 minutes. During that 5 minutes, your skin gets really cool and feels like a blanket of fresh on your face. It's awesome. It doesn't make your skin tight (like a number of masks) and it's easy to get off! I highly recommend it but remember that if your skin starts getting a bit dry, try to use it once a week to a week and a half or more instead of 2 times a week. Your skin still needs those natural oils to balance everything out, so you want to make sure that you keep it!

2. Silver Sparkler by Salon Perfect
This is one of these "I'm having a bad day and need nail polish therapy" buys. So far, it's been a good one! It's a top coat and what I really enjoy about it is that it has a variety of big and small pieces in a good ratio. Usually you have too much normal base that it takes a while to get the glitter on there. It didn't really take me long for this one! Another plus is that it's more holographic than some of my other glitters. It stays on really well and if you have a little patience, it isn't too bad to take off!

3. Suave Professionals Mousse: Captivating Curls
I'm blessed with having curls. Beautiful, pain in the booty curls. After many years of trying to find a product that doesn't destroy my hair, gives it shape, and lasts, I found one that has been my go-to. What I really like about this product is that since it's a whipped cream mousse, it makes hair soft and, what curly headed people call, touchable curls instead of it being hard and crunchy. It also has a hint of conditioner in it so it helps keep hair fun and light. I can rave about this for a long time, but I feel like you get my drift. :)

4. Dove Deodorant
Deodorant is a necessity to life. Dove is by far my favorite type that I've used so far. Living in Texas and in the humidity makes a lot of people sweat and unfortunately, not everyone wears deodorant...which is very unfortunate. For all my ladies reading this, I really recommend this. It's simple, lasting, and gentle on the skin. For all my dudes, I mean....my boyfriend had to use it once or twice when he forgot his and it wasn't so bad! He uses the Old Spice Wolfthorn, Matterhorn, and some other one (He likes variety haha).

Hope you guys have a lovely rest of the month!
Lemme know if there's something you want me to try!
