Ipsy: December

This is actually my first Ipsy bag and I was super excited to get it!!
I really wanted to review what I thought of the products I got in the bag and how likely I would be to use them!
Ipsy is $10 a month and comes with a variety of products.
I watched TONS of reviews and did a lot of thinking and comparing and decided to go for it.
I love makeup and love trying new things!

The bag:

I have to admit. I'm not the biggest fan of pink, but the inside is more of a magenta and the outside is black. Plus it has a cute little heart on the zipper. The material seems like it would hold up during normal use (throwing in your purse or overnight trip).
I'll probably use it just because it's there, but I already have quite a few bags this size and some bigger. It seems like a good, quick bag to take somewhere.

NYX Butter Lip Balm in Ladyfingers:

I laughed at the name of the color. I couldn't help it. I love NYX products (obviously..) and this was actually the first one I tried and I really like it. It's super buttery (as said in its name) and smooth with a hint of color. It smells nice and it really hydrates the lips. I got compliments on it at one of my finals and that little bit of confidence helped! The lip balm retails for $4 and is full size!
I'll definitely keep it in range and use it when my lips need hydration and color!

Coolway Boost Hair Treatment:

I honestly had no idea what this was.. I have naturally curly and very crazy hair. Also dry and frizzy from the Texas weather. It was 70 degrees yesterday and no it's mid-40s today.. This is a hair condition treatment that is supposed to strengthen and restore hair. I mean....okay.. It's got a full ounce of product, so I feel like it's a generous amount to try a few times (at least it isn't a foil packet).
I'll give this a try, but I probably won't purchase the full size which retails for $30.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes:

I was excited to get this. I love getting little mascaras to take with me on the go and to try some new things. I really like the formula and wear of it. It gave my lashes a little help and I love when mascaras can do that. I also really like the brush/applicator. This is a deluxe size sample and the full size retails for $20.
I won't use it everyday, but I'll take it with me for out of town trips or events where I might need a touch up!

Pixi Fairy Dust in Brightening Bare:

This was the product I was most excited about getting. I heard about the brand a few years ago, but I was never able to get my hands on it. The color is a nude color and I actually really like it. It has a slight hint of shimmer to help give a little glow. The applicator was a little different than I expected, but since I've mainly used this on my inner corners of my eyes and a quick cheek highlight. This retails for $10 and is full size!
I'll definitely continue to use this in some of my looks!

Double-ended Crown Brush:

This brush isn't too bad! I really like the crease end of the brush (right)! It has a nice point so it can help with precision application. The shadow brush side (left isn't bad either. The shadow end is stiff enough to help pack the shadow on the lid. I've used better, but it's still pretty good. It's retails for about $18, so it's a steal!
I'll continue using it (because I really like the crease end) and it's good for travel because it's 2 brushes on one product!

Overall thoughts:
Considering it's my first bag, it's not a bad one! I'll get use out of what I got and that's what matters. My favorite product in the bag is probably the fairy dust, mainly because I've wanted to try this product so bad! I'm really excited to keep getting my bags and reviewing them!

Lemme know what you think and if you got a bag, or have any of these products, what your favorite is!
