Dorm Beauty: Healthy Skin.

So I thought I would share a few of my favorite products for my face and body.
I've always had a problem with keeping my face, back, and arms healthy and clear of acne.
I've tried tons of products and remedies and I've found a few that work quite well!

1: Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser
This is a daily (more or less) face wash. I use it in the mornings and I absolutely love it. I've tried different washes over the past couple years, and this is by far the best product that I've used. It's an oil-free cleanser, which for my skin type is perfect, and it's also non-comedogenic. That nice word means that it won't clog pores! After using it, it has this cooling effect and really makes you feel refreshed. It's awesome! Every time I use this, I feel lovely. After about 2 weeks of using it, my face was becoming a lot clearer.

2: Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment
This stuff is pretty awesome. It contains a special peroxide, benzoyl peroxide, and it's mostly for acne treatment. This is also a "use whenever you need it" type of product--before class, before bed, or evn during the day. I really love this stuff for a few reasons. First off, it works. Secondly, it doesn't dry out my skin. Lastly, it's long term--it helps prevent that blemish from growing and helps keep it from coming back. Needless to say, it's kinda fantastic.

3: Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray
Holy. Bananas. This is probably one of my favorite products. EVER. It's a 360 degree spray for those places that get acne that you can't reach very easily. A lot like benzoyl peroxide, this has Salicyclic acid which is also used to help acne. I use this product on my back, shoulders, and the back of my arms. I usually use this at night before I go to bed. Being a female and blessed, if I put it on at the beginning of the day, I don't feel it does its justice. Plus, I also feel like if I use it right before I go to bed, it'll work its magic.

4. Merle Norman Dual Action Eye Make-Up Remover
This product is amazing! It's oil-free and gets those annoying, hard to remove make-ups off. It's a 2-phase formula and is safe for sensitive skin. I always recommend this to other lovely ladies who can't seem to find the perfect one. A couple of my friends who have tried this love it as well! This product is completely worth it!

5. Johnson & Johnson Body Lotion
I like fun, scented lotions and body washes just as much as anyone else, but this stuff is a life saver whenever I have major razor burn or when the scented lotion isn't right for the job. This lotion makes the skin soft and has no scents or dyes that are harmful for the skin! I've used the for years and it hasn't let me down! The cool thing is is that it's not very expensive (especially if you happen to find it on sale)! There have been a few times where I haven't felt good and, in the winter, the cold air dries my skin and makes my nose raw, this has really saved my skin! Also, if you put this on your feet, put socks on and then go to bed, the next morning your feet will feel soft and refreshed!

A few other helpful things to keep skin clear and healthy aren't always products!
1. Try to keep your hands off of your face. Touching your face transfers all those germs to your face and into your pores!
2. Hydrogen Peroxide is good for those annoying blemishes. Sometimes normal products don't always work and I have to use my big guns! Also, if your ear is hurting, pour a little in, wait until it's almost done bubbling, turn your head over and let it drain out. It's a trick that my mom has used for me since I was little!
3. Use a loofah! It helps rub those dead skin cells off, leaving your skin clean and healthy! They also feel really nice, so that's never a bad thing!

Hope you enjoy this and find this helpful!
I plan on doing some more similar ones in the future, so if you have any suggestions, please don't be afraid to tell me! :)
