Dorm Beauty: March Madness

I thought that I would start another little something with this because why not?!
I also know it's already April, but I decided to go ahead and post this. :)
March is an awesome month because of Spring Break and it's also halfway through the semester.
If you didn't know this, I used to work in a cosmetic studio and did for about 3 & 1/2 years.
I was on the verge of getting certified, but life kinda took off and I had to put it off.
Although I'm not certified, I do know quite a bit.
By saying this, a new little project I want to start on here is my favorite products per month!
*Side note: All of the pictures are without flash except for the nail polish. I felt like 'some' natural light might work best but who knows! :D

Anywho, I wanted to give you my March favorites!

1. Bath & Body Work Diamond Mist

This stuff is so much fun! It's one of their newer products and I got a bottle that was on sale and another for a promotion thing they were doing. The scent I got was Air, one of their newer scents.
It smells lovely and helps give a little shimmer to the skin! Find a scent you like and give it a try, I highly recommend this!

2. Starry Night in Sinful Color Nail Polish

Such a gorgeous color. I'm a nail polish hoarder and my boyfriend makes fun of me all the time for it. This color is actually one he pointed out in the store and I fell in love with it. It reminded me a little bit of Essie's 'Belugaria' except that the glitter is smaller and there's more of it. I love sparkle and this color is a stunner. I'm in love with it!

3. Sheer Glitter Primer by E.L.F.

First off, I absolutely adore their products. Most of the products that I have/have tried are phenomenal! This primer in particular is great because it's clear and holds the pigments very well. I also haven't had much trouble getting it off at night (or when I accidentally mess up...). PLUS it's only $2 per tube!!

4. Wicked Lash Mascara (in the color black) by Merle Norman

I was blessed in so many ways, but I have a small lash length. I get jealous of my best friend for having long, gorgeous lashes, but this mascara has done wonders!! For a full, beautiful length, I use an eye lash curler (but I be sure to not hold it for too long; about 3 seconds is good!), then Lash Prep (also from Merle Norman), and lastly I apply the mascara while the Lash Prep is still fresh for a full effect! I adore this mascara!

5. Almay Intense iColor (for green eyes) eyeshadow and eyeliner

I've always been a little skeptical of color sets for a particular eye color, but I decided to give this stuff a shot. I only purchased the basic eyeshadow and liner. The eyeshadow was in the shade of Bold Nudes and liner in Rasin Quartz. I really dig this stuff!! Having green eyes has a few challenges and one of them is trying to get the right shades of colors to make the eyes pop. This definitely does the trick. (I've heard they also have another color for the greens and the next time I need to splurge on myself a little, I'll get it!)

6. E.LF. Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow in Lunch Break

I do have to admit that I'm obsessed with eyeshadow and elf products. They have great pigments for a good price. It's such a great color and doesn't overwhelm the eyes whenever you put it on. Neutral is my friend and this color hits it perfectly! I absolutely adore it!

I hope you find my opinions helpful and be expecting more in the future!! :)
