Dorm Beauty: November Rain

For some reason, Texas decided it wanted to be crazy and for a good week or so it rained.
A lot.
You'd think it'd start getting nice and cold, but noooo...it wants to get humid and rainy.
Oh well, I'm just glad I'm not having a heat stroke every time I walk outside.
Here we go!

1. Eylure Naturalites False Lashes
I, personally, never understood how people could wear fake lashes. One day, a good friend of mine and I were talking about them, so I decided to experiment and play with them. Wow. These Eylure ones that I picked up were really good. I got the natural lashes (because I didn't want to go too wild on something that I didn't know how to do very well) and they were so very lovely. They were comfortable, bold, and well...natural. I got mine at Ulta, but they should be available elsewhere. Just be sure to experiment and know how to master them before you wear them anywhere. I played with them two or three times just to try and get the hang of it. I wore these for Halloween and my Ring Day and no one really saw much of a difference (between my real lashes with super volume mascara)! I'll definitely be wearing them to special events!

2. Shoot for the Maroon by Nicole (by OPI)
I love maroon. Not only because of the school I go to, but because it's just a beautiful color. It's perfect for fall because it's a dark polish with a bit of shimmer. The reason I like this polish specifically is because it doesn't chip easy, it lasts a long time and it doesn't stain the nails (which is always a huge plus). I actually wore this color when I got my ring and it just looks so beautiful in pictures and in person!

3. Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner
Yes, ANOTHER Neutrogena product! :D I had a bad experience with toner a few years ago and was extremely cautious to try another. This has not let me down since I've started using it. Granted, I don't use it every single day like I do my cleanser and moisturizer, but I use it for when I have special occasions coming up or when I just need a good deep clean for my face. I've noticed that it does an amazing job at shrinking the pores, refining the skin and leaving it feeling refreshed.

4. NYX Baked Eyeshadow in Peach Ice
It's obvious to see that I have another favorite brand to add to my collection. This color I actually came across reading this blog post and I was super intrigued and excited to try it! Since my budget (right now) doesn't really allow for high end items I try to find dupes, but lucky for me this is a budget friendly product and a nice, lighter color. Plus the packaging is super cute!

5. Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Real Techniques are great quality brushes that are very affordable. They're soft, color coordinated brushes that really get the job done. For my birthday, I got the Core Collection set and I watched all of the tutorials and explanations from the website and was super excited and motivated to play with the brushes! Out of this collection, the Buffing Brush is my favorite for applying my foundation and I'm soon getting the Expert Face Brush. So excited!

I hope you enjoy it and I promise that I will do my best to have more natural/original pictures instead of stock photos. Life just got crazy and I never really have a good amount of time to get it done or I forget. :/ I will try my best to remember better!!
