Monthly Favorites: December

Such a lovely month of cold weather, hot chocolate and fireplaces!
Alas, the Spring semester is about to take off and we all gotta get prepared.


1. FreeCell
I forgot how much I enjoyed this game. I spent quite a bit of time playing this. It just gets so addicting and passes the time. I don't know how else to explain it! :D

2. Gas Prices
Although for people in the industry it's not at its best, it's nice to have lower gas prices. It was extremely helpful since I did a good amount of travelling over the break! My brother-in-law said they should be rising again soon, but not to the $4 mark like last year!




3. New In Town
This movie is absolutely hilarious and precious! My mom made us watch it one night and it has become one of my new favorite [Christmas] movies. You must go watch it! A quick synopsis: Lucy is an eager business woman who is trying to climb up the ladder. She's sent out to a tiny town in Minnesota to figure out why one of the factories isn't doing its best. While she's there, she meets this woman, her 'temporary' secretary who makes the best tapioca recipe. Lucy eventually falls in love with this man, who also happens to work with the business that Lucy is in.

4. Better Homes and Gardens Microfiber Blanket in Heather Gray and White
This is officially my favorite blanket for the time being. It's soft, warm and extremely cozy. I've been taking it everywhere I go when I go out of town. For one of the dates I went on (our anniversary date actually..), I took it in the car with me and slept while he drove. It's so freakishly comfortable and you can get them at a decent price!! :D You can actually get it right here!!


I know I don't have much, but I honestly didn't do much over the break except relax and spend time with my family!
