I'm so excited and so far January has definitely been interesting!
I'm also extremely happy that the color of the year is Marsala!!

1. Stila's In The Light Palette
This was my splurge/Christmas gift to myself and I love it. I've wanted this for so long and the website was having a seasonal sale and I was like 'Um yes ma'am.' I love it so freaking much. The colors are creamy and pigmented. The choice of colors are wonderfully earthy and neutral. For me and my greens eyes, it's absolutely perfect! I tried a few on my younger sister and they worked well with her hazel eyes! The palette also comes with a smudge stick in Damsel, which is a matte brown. Let me tell you, that sucker doesn't go anywhere. Just make sure to smudge it out. If you want to check it out, you can do that right here!
2. John Freida's FrizzEase Leave-In Conditioner
I've been testing out new things for my hair. Since I was almost out of what I've been using, I decided to search the depths of curly headed women to find a common product. The FrizzEase line was that. I had tried this line in the past, but it was before I knew how to properly tame, I mean...maintain my hair. Oh my goodness, y'all. My hair is so bouncy, extra curly and voluminous!! It lasts long and smells nice! With this change, I may be trying out more products in the near future!
3. Golden Rule by Sally Hansen
Glitter is a necessary part of my collection. I have several different colors and sizes, but I didn't have a fine, gold glitter. I was at Walgreens and made my way to the polishes. They had a few that were on sale and this was one of them! I thought why not?, and I love it!
4. Lip Exfoliater by e.l.f.
Obsessed. Have been for months, but these past few months have really put it to the test! I love this product and it's only $3! What's so great about it? First off, it's an exfoliant...for your lips. Next, it's perfect for travel. You can just throw it in your purse and go! Lastly, it smells absolutely lovely! I honestly cannot rave enough about this product! Seriously. Go to Target and get you some. Now.
5. Soft Lips Lip Cube in Blueberry Pomegranate
I came across this one day while looking for my normal lip conditioner and was completely intrigued. Everyone I know loves the EOS balms, but I've never found the rave about them. This lip cube is amazing!! The formula is super soft and moisturizing, smells amazing and the design is adorable!
