I was really excited when I saw past boxes and had to sign up!
Sadly, I feel like this was definitely an off month because the box really wasn't that good.
Either way, I'm looking forward to the next box in hopes that it's going to be better!
So when you open this box, the first thing on top is a little booklet that tells you more about each of the products, how much they retail for and why they chose them.
After that, this first thing I pulled out what the Pore-fessional sample from benefit.
I was initially intrigued and then disappointed.
The sample is only .1 fl oz.
You could get this free at a sample booth or checkout counter.
A full size retails for $30 so this sample is worth maybe $4.
The next thing I pulled out was a perfume sample from Marc Jacobs called Daisy Dream.
Another thing you could get free for asking.
A full size is 1.7 oz and costs about $76, making the sample around $2.
Next, ANOTHER sample.
This one is Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil.
A full size of this is $40 and the sample is not even $1...
A serious disappointment.
Next, I pulled out this cute little container from Mt. Sapola.
It's their Lavender-Chamomile body lotion.
I'm personally not a fan of the smell, but it feels great.
The full size of this is about $24, making the sample about $3.
Probably the cutest thing in the box was a lip plumper from Jane Iredale Just Kissed in Rio.
It's so little!! SO CUTE.
The amount of product that is actually in the little tube is more than I expected.
a full size of this is $25 which makes the sample $3-4.
Lastly, the last item I received was a candle from Illume Tonka Noir.
It was the biggest thing in the box.
Unfortunately, I live in a dorm right now, so I won't be able to get any use of this right away..
A full candle (from what I could find) is about 17 oz and is worth $20 and the sample is 1 oz and is worth about $3.
Overall, the box is worth about $15-$17 which is kind of disappointing considering the box sub is $15.
I REALLY hope that they've just been crazy stressed and this caused it to be an off month.
I'm still looking forward to the May box in hopes that it's going to be better.
